About Karen Knowles |

|
I am a writer, writer’s coach, and teacher. I coach writers in all stages of their creative work and lead workshops on writing and self-coaching skills in upstate New York. I work with a wide range of writers, from novelists to business professionals. As a writer, I understand the challenges of staying focused, creating “in the middle of things,” and seeing an idea come to fruition. My fiction has appeared on LiteraryMama.com and my essays have been broadcast on NPR and in American Nature Writers. I am the editor of Celebrating the Land, the first published essay collection of women’s nature writing—and also my first “creative spark” success story. As a teacher and coach, I am passionate about helping others unlock their potential as writers. I listen attentively to writers’ challenges and goals and provide detailed, constructive feedback. My objective is to guide writers through the various stages of a project so they can experience the satisfaction of completing their manuscript. I honor the discipline and commitment that all successful writers need, and I can support you through any type of block you may be experiencing. Together, we’ll add that extra spark that will help you achieve your dream. Explore your own creative potential and see what sparks occur! Contact me for a complimentary ½ hour coaching session.
